A few days ago I watched the UBC TV 10:00pm news and was appalled, not by the news set (it has improved a lot), by what was on the screen.
As a way of introducing the news program, which this fill screen advert "News brought to you by Azam TV".
At first I thought for a moment Azam TV had 'taken over' UBC TV, only to realize it was a sponsorship message!
How can a TV station sponsor news on another TV station? It is like tuning in to CNN and being shown "This is CNN news, brought to you by Al Jazeera"!
The money Azam TV spent on advertising on UBC should be used on a different slot of program, not the main news.
I hope you will realise how really tasteless and damaging to UBC, this Azam TV advert is.
This is criticism in good faith.
