Winnie Nwagi, 27, is signed to the Swangz Avenue label and in the pic, the Musawo singer is seen striking a pose with her Producer, Benon Mugumbya who gave her a Pajero Mini for a job well done.
No doubt, the guys are managing her ''Kitone'' well leading to hit after hit from the now most sought after female artist in the country. Just a few days back, her Swangz Avenue bosses rewarded her with a Pajero Mini following her Musawo hit that plays on TV's, radio stations and clubs. This has rendered the Boda Boda man who was tasked with the role of taking her around the city jobless.
The Embeera singer told the team at NTV's About Town that moving on motor-cycles within the city was her biggest challenge followed by stopping her songs seconds into her performance just because she is an upcoming artiste, but all this is now behind her as she makes a steady progress to the top.
Nwagi was voted the Break Through Artist of the Year in the Best of the Best awards, Teeniez Breakout Artist in the BTA16 and of course her Musawo song that has taken Kampala and her fans the world over by storm are some of her strong points.
You can catch up with the Musawo star at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo on June 5 at the first ever Roast & Rhyme function that will see kids enter free and adults 50k. Winnie will do her other songs that include; Katono Katono, Gwennonya, Kyowulira, Science which she did with King Saha and her very latest, Kibulamu.
